Malmö

Thursday morning, Henric and I left for Malmö as Henric had a meeting there. It's about a 6 hour drive from Eskilstuna. To Swedes 6 hours in an insane distance to drive so everyone was shocked that I wasn't flying there which I found pretty funny considering that we'll drive to Vancouver from Edmonton!

On the way home from Malmö we stopped in this cute little town with a beautiful castle complete with a moat, right on Vattern (a HUUUGEEE lake).

Below (and above) is a pic from the Malmö festivalen which is a big outdoor festival with free concerts and street performers. We spent the evening wandering around the festival which was fun.
Here you have the bridge to Copenhagen. It only takes about 15 minutes to drive accross but you have to pay : (whereas if you take the ferry it's free (about a 25 minute ferry ride I think).

One last thing to note - I FOUND ALL 3 SUBWAYS IN MALMO IN UNDER 10 MINUTES! IMPRESSIVE EH?

All in all it was a great trip!

Last night Rachel, Amy, Marianne, and Steele came over to my place for a movie night which was great! This morning when we woke up (juyst the girls for clarification hehe), Rachel and I decided to make some North American pancakes... unfortunately we suck at making pancakes! They were terrible! I don't know how it's possible to wreck pancakes but we managed hehe! Next time we're going to use a mix in true Canadian style!

Awwwww... I'm a fan of Malmo (sorry, haven't mastered the fancy "o with dots" keyboard shortcut), as we spent a night there on Eurotour... Hahahaaa...
Good times!
