I finally planned a skating morning, the last weekend of school before school started. I've been attempting to have one for weeks.

Rachel, Marianne, Marcus, and I went. It was a great morning. Hopefully we'll do it again this weekend.
Steele went home to Australia Thursday morning. It was hard to say goodbye. Steele wazs the first person I met upon coming to Sweden, and my only friend during the first few weeks. Now that he's left, it means I'm now officially half way through as all my oldies have left. A scary thought!
Friday evening, I went for dinner at my next host family's house in the country. They live about 40 minutes from town in a cute little historical house. It was a really nice evening. I'm excited to go there in February! : )

Thursday night, Marcus and his dad invited me to go skiing in Sälen over the weekend. Sälen's a big ski resort about a 4 hour drive North from Eskilstuna, near the border with Norway. His family has a ski lodge there, which is where we stayed.

My ski skills improved a bit over the weekend which was good as I struggle! Marcus spent hours helping me out. After skiing we relaxed, and took a sauna : ) That's one of the best parts about living in Scandinavia! There's sauna's everywhere!

It was a great weekend, I'm looking forward to going back during the sports week in February!
